ADVISORY – PHISHING SCAMS AIMED AT CHARTER CUSTOMERS
Due to scams on the Internet, Charter customers may receive e–mails asking that you to click on a link or reply to the message and provide sensitive account information. These e-mails are fraudulent and are commonly referred to as “phishing” scams.
Charter Communications would never request sensitive information such as user names, passwords, social security numbers, or credit/debit card numbers via unsecured channels such as e-mail.
