Outlook Express - Adding Newsgroups

1. Click on Tools, then click on Accounts.
   
   
   
2. Click on the News tab.
   
   
   
3. Click on the Add button, and click on News to start the News Internet Connection Wizard.
   
   
   
4. Enter your complete name and click Next.
   
   
   
5. Enter your e-mail address and click Next.
   
   
   
6. The Charter news server is: nntp.charter.net This server does not require a log on. Do not check the box. Then click Next. On the next screen, enter a familiar name that will then appear in the Internet Account window, then click Next.
   
   
   
7. Click Finish.
   
   
   
8. Outlook Express will prompt you to download Newsgroups. Click Yes.
   
   
   
9. Newsgroups will download. This process could take a few minutes. Currently there are over 50,000 newsgroups available through the Charter servers.
