Account Change Notification

Customers who subscribe to Charter Telephone will receive a notification when the following takes place: 

  • Changes to Bill-To Address (includes corrections or case-sensitive changes)
  • Changes to Email address (applies to address on billing account; does not apply to Charter.net addresses managed through My Account)
  • Changes to PIN (used to authenticate billing account changes; is not the same as PIN used for Parental Controls on a cable converter box)
  • Changes to My Account - Online Account through Charter.com

    • Username is created or changed
    • Password is created or changed
    • Secret Question is selected or changed
    • Secret Answer is created or changed
    • Contact email is created or changed

Customers will be notified by either a post card or voicemail message.  The voicemail message will be similar to the information provided on the postcard.  A sample post card is provided below:
