Account Change Notification
Customers who subscribe to Charter Telephone will receive a notification when the following takes place:
- Changes to Bill-To Address (includes corrections or case-sensitive changes)
- Changes to Email address (applies to address on billing account; does not apply to Charter.net addresses managed through My Account)
- Changes to PIN (used to authenticate billing account changes; is not the same as PIN used for Parental Controls on a cable converter box)
- Changes to My Account - Online Account through Charter.com
- Username is created or changed
- Password is created or changed
- Secret Question is selected or changed
- Secret Answer is created or changed
- Contact email is created or changed
Customers will be notified by either a post card or voicemail message. The voicemail message will be similar to the information provided on the postcard. A sample post card is provided below:
