Prior to installing the Charter Security Suite, be sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements.
Important! The current version of Charter Security Suite™ (version 8) is NOT compatible with Microsoft Windows® 7. Users running Window® 7 will be able to install Charter Security Suite™ v9 when it becomes available in early December 2009.

Download Charter Security Suite
Step 2 of 10
Login to the My Account Page at www.charter.com/myaccount and select the Internet Services & Tools tab.
Click on the Charter Security Suite link.
Active a subscription key by clicking the “Activate” link.
Click the “Download” link to start the installer.
Click “Run” and the file will begin to download.

Choose the installation language and click “Next”.

Click the “Accept” for the License Agreement.

The serial number will be listed in the Subscription box; click Next. If not, please type it in manually, then click Next.

The installation may take a few moments. The progress will be displayed below.

When the installation tasks have completed, click “Restart” to complete the installation.

When restarted the Security Suite will validate the subscription. Then select “Next”.

You will be prompted with “Do you want to learn more about your computer’s protections?” Choose Yes or No, then click Finish.

If you selected “Yes, I would like to learn more” the screen below will be displayed. Click “Close” to exit.
