To uninstall the Charter Security Suite:
For Windows 7 & Vista, click “Start” and “Control Panel”.
For Windows XP, click “Start”, “Settings”, and “Control Panel”

Control Panel for Windows 7 & Vista:
Click the "Uninstall a program" link under the "Programs" header.
Control Panel for Windows XP:
Click the "Add/Remove Programs" link.

Windows 7 & Vista, select the application by clicking on the name and then click "Uninstall/Change".
Windows XP, click the Change/Remove button.

Ensure "Remove all" is selected and then click "Start". Please note your computer is no longer protected by the Charter Security Suite.

When the process is complete, save and close all other programs, ensure “Restart now (recommended)” is selected and click the “Finish” button. Your computer will reboot to complete the operation.

About Using the Uninstall Tool
If you are experiencing difficulties uninstalling the Charter Security Suite through the standard removal process, you may uninstall the program using the uninstall tool.
Please Note: It is important that you first attempt to uninstall the Charter Security Suite through the control panel of your operating system prior to using the uninstall tool.
Downloading the Uninstall Tool
Click here to download the Charter Security Suite Uninstall Tool.
Choose "Run" on the File Download dialog box.
A download progress window will show the download process.
Running the Uninstall Tool
When the download is complete, a security warning dialog box may appear. Click "Run" to continue.
On the welcome screen, choose "Next".
Click "Start" to initiate the removal process.
The screen will show the status of the removal progress.
When completed, you will be promted to restart your computer. Click the "Restart" button.
